About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate and contribute to team huddles
- Maintain project and task utilization rates of at least 75%
- Collect and analyze financial data and own data quality controls
- Report process feedback, breaches, and errors to the team Manager
- Respond promptly and maintain high stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and multiple project teams
- Deliver high-quality output through constructive review and feedback
- Participate in Teams calls, meetings, and email communications to interpret research requirements
- Engage in team-building activities and cross-functional collaboration
- Communicate project status and deliver products and services to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Improve efficiency and gradually reduce turnaround time
- Analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance
- Adhere to quality, turnaround-time, policy, and procedure targets
- Assist in preparing and presenting analysis results clearly and concisely
- Collect data and manage projects cross-functionally
- Work with management to build and maintain client relationships
- Assist the team leader on client calls
- Maintain the project tracker and resolve team queries
- Research, source, extract, process, summarize, verify, and analyze financial and business data for internal Kroll business units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (preferably BAF, BFM, B. Com, BMS, BBI, BBA etc.) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or MBA or MMS from an accredited college or university
- No CFA, FRM, ACCA aspirants
- Between 2–5 years of related experience (research analyst)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts
- Background/exposure to financial reporting and financial modelling preferred
- Strong proficiency with online databases, preferably Capital IQ
- Internet research experience covering company-specific, industry, and economic analysis
- Project management experience preferable
- Integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and tight timelines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, PitchBook, Mergermarket, and CapIQ platforms
- Preferable knowledge of fund accounting, NAV calculation, DCF methodology, and cash flows
