About the role
- Serve as Scrum Master for Reporting delivery teams, ensuring consistent and effective execution of Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the accountable owner for Agile flow and discipline, ensuring sprint commitments are realistic, achievable, and aligned to business priorities.
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Identify, track, and proactively remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery velocity or quality.
- Plan, track, and manage delivery of Reporting initiatives across multiple sprints and releases, ensuring alignment to roadmap commitments.
- Manage cross‑team dependencies, risks, and escalations, partnering with IT, Data Engineering, Business, and external vendors as needed.
- Provide clear, concise delivery status reporting, including sprint metrics, milestone progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure delivery adheres to enterprise SDLC, governance, and compliance standards applicable to Reporting and data products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and SDLC processes in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and work across cross‑functional teams (Business, Data, Engineering, QA, Governance).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
