About the role
- Proactively identify, pursue, and originate new business opportunities within FAAS and in collaboration with other Kroll service lines.
- Develop and maintain a personal portfolio of client relationships; contribute to annual revenue origination goals.
- Effectively present proposals, sales pitches, and complex valuation/technical concepts to senior client executives to win new or expanded engagements.
- Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market and competitor information
- Represent FAAS at industry events, contribute to thought leadership, and support visibility of the Kroll brand.
- Independently lead multiple complex engagements from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery of high-quality, technically robust valuations including determining appropriate valuation methodology and reviewing model outputs.
- Convert one-off engagement opportunities to reoccurring mandates.
- Take full ownership of engagement economics, risk management, scoping, and profitability.
- Present key findings, strategic insights, and deliverables to senior client stakeholders with clarity and influence.
- Ensure early identification and resolution of key risks and technical issues across engagements.
- Foster a strong, inclusive team culture that motivates, develops, and retains high-performing staff.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level professionals; provide regular, constructive feedback to support upward progression.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts and support development of training initiatives for the team.
- Model Kroll values and promote collaboration across locations and service lines.
- Serve as an internal expert in one or more FAAS service lines or industry sectors, sought out by colleagues for guidance.
- Actively share technical expertise, methodologies, and best practices across engagements and teams.
- Maintain strong understanding of other Kroll offerings and actively identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Deliver complex valuation analyses and models with high technical quality and minimal oversight; support development of junior staff.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, property, business administration, economics, or related discipline.
- CFA, CPA, ASA, API, MRICS (or comparable professional designations) preferred.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in valuations ins financial reporting, insurance appraisals, or related areas, ideally within professional services.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including originating or significantly contributing to new client relationships and revenue.
- Proven experience independently managing large, complex engagements and driving engagement profitability.
- Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities
- Recognized technical expertise in valuation or within a specific industry vertical; ability to communicate complex technical issues to senior executives.
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of coaching, team development, and fostering collaborative culture.
- High level of integrity and professionalism

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with maturity and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
