About the role
- Take a management role in the Restructuring team, managing day-to-day operation of restructuring assignments
- Provide reports to Directors and Managing Directors and delegate tasks to team members
- Ensure timescales are met and manage deadlines
- Provide guidance, motivation, mentoring and assistance to the team, support training and progression, and undertake appraisals
- Assume responsibility for client relations and liaise with clients, employees, agents and solicitors
- Build and maintain relationships with other professionals and pursue referrals
- Promote Kroll’s business and services by hosting and attending marketing events, seminars and presentations
- Handle case-related correspondence and telephone calls from stakeholders, clients and creditors
- Prepare accurate budgets for tenders, manage time costs and billing
- Pursue personal development required for effective performance
- Adhere to Kroll systems, policy requirements and Health & Safety policy
- Be willing to travel internally
Requirements
- Previous restructuring/transactions/special situations experience desirable
- A minimum of 6 years’ financial/commercial experience in India - Big 4, investment banking or equivalent
- Experience in audit, management accounting, valuation or M&A
- Finance-related educational qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Finance MBA (ideal)
- Strong academic track record
- Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to master new tasks and industries quickly
- Engaging personality and strong team player
- Ability to work well under pressure and deal with ambiguity
- Strong organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
