About the role
- Qualified instrumentation: prepare all devices required for procedures and operations and ensure their hygienic reprocessing
- Care for patients before, during and after surgery and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Knowledge of how to act in crisis and disaster situations
- Take responsibility for organizational processes related to the operating room
- In addition to working in the OR team, you will gain insight into tasks in functional departments, the emergency department and outpatient clinics, endoscopy units, sterile goods reprocessing, and other nursing areas
Requirements
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Enjoyment of and willingness to work with people of all ages
- Motivation to acquire new knowledge and consolidate it in practice
- Secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent; good German language skills (at least certificate B2)
- Physical and mental resilience (e.g., ability to stand for long periods)
- A nursing internship, preferably with insights into the operating room, is recommended for career orientation
- Ability to identify with the Christian values of our hospital
