About the role
- Elicit business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews
- Define and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Prioritize, structure, and validate requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
- Transform business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications using standard techniques such as use cases, process flows, data modeling, and prototyping
- Define and support the creation of functional acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Validate implemented solutions against defined requirements and ensure business needs are met
- Work with business and technical teams for structuring the information and onboarding services to support
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders and explain requirements as well as impact and solution(s)
- Provide end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle — from scoping and solution design to user acceptance and production sign-off
- Support issue escalation and clarification of requirements during development, testing, and post-implementation phases
- Analyze and consolidate data from multiple sources to support decision-making processes
- Identify trends or issues and determine improved recommendations/specifications
- Design and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions for business users and support teams
Requirements
- Graduate in a relevant field
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis
- Experience in public transportation systems implementation is a plus
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Hands-on experience with SQL would be a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interest in continuous learning and career development
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Oversee the entire development process
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Experience working with Jira
- Experience working with modeling and design tools like PowerPoint/Visio/Case Complete/Enterprise Architect/Draw.io
- Nice to have: CBAP certification or a similar business analysis certification
