About the role

  • Create test and inspection plans for safety testing
  • Perform safety tests and certification tasks (EU, CE, UKCA) and prepare declarations of conformity
  • Coordinate and liaise with external test laboratories; support approvals for USA, Canada and China (UL/CSA, CCC)
  • Organize and maintain the in-house laboratory
  • Act as technical point of contact for development and project management
  • Stay up to date with the state of the art and ensure familiarity with current standards

Requirements

  • Training as an electrical technician (m/f/d) or degree in electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification (technician/engineer, etc.)
  • Several years of professional experience in this or a comparable field is essential
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux
  • Experience with relevant measurement instruments and temperature testing
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products such as Word and Excel
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
