About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for complete technical development of pattern-making and technical specifications
  • Supervises and delivers on-time functional task timelines
  • Owns the communication and process of product specifications
  • Directs and oversees activities of Technical Design team members
  • Coordinates with Product Development team for production-ready packages
  • Communicates product changes to ensure accurate execution
  • Establishes new fit blocks and maintains core fit library
  • Assists in creating standard operating procedures
  • Serves as a technical expert to resolve issues
  • Responsible for training and development of direct reports
  • Conducts performance reviews and appraisals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of apparel manufacturing experience
  • Extensive knowledge in pattern and technical product development processes
  • Preferred experience in Jeanswear Bottoms or Tops product
  • Ability to manage a large team
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
