About the role
- Monitor and interpret industry trends as well as stormwater regulatory requirements across sales regions and target markets
- Provide regulatory intelligence and market insight to support product positioning and commercial growth
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering to align new product development with market needs and regulatory requirements
- Support development of in-house and third-party testing strategies needed for product verification, certification, and approval
- Prepare, coordinate, and track regulatory submissions across municipalities, agencies, and certification programs
- Provide project, municipality, and jurisdiction specific support to sales teams to address regulatory and technical questions
- Identify and communicate product advantages, limitations, and competitive considerations within different regulatory environments
- Assist in development of technical and educational materials which include white papers, conference abstracts, webinars, website content, specifications, and technical manuals
- Represent Komline-AquaShield professionally through participation in industry organizations, conferences, and regulatory forums
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Experience in stormwater management, water quality treatment technologies, environmental permitting, or related regulatory fields
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, testing protocols, and product approval processes
- Strong technical writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for product development and sales teams.
