About the role

  • Responsible for establishing the Treasury, Tax & Insurance functions and providing strategic direction and leadership.
  • Manage and oversee group-wide liquidity planning, cash management and payment operations.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with house banks and optimize and harmonize the banking structure.
  • Support the development of financing strategies.
  • Advise on financing matters, selection of financial instruments, as well as hedging and risk-management transactions in accordance with IFRS.
  • Develop and implement the group-wide tax and transfer pricing strategy.
  • Support subsidiaries on tax matters and ensure global tax compliance together with local tax advisors.
  • Administer, negotiate and optimize group-wide insurance policies in cooperation with external brokers.
  • Support global subsidiaries on insurance-related issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in Treasury, group taxation and insurance, preferably in an international automotive environment or in the banking sector.
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets and relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in cash management, foreign currency hedging, IFRS hedge accounting, insurance and international tax matters.
  • Confident user of treasury and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, TMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in developing financial strategies.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
