About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently or on an ad-hoc basis take on and handle matters in intellectual property law, e.g., trademark, design, patent and competition law
  • Support clients on cyberlaw matters, in particular hacker attacks, incident response, and NIS2 and CRA compliance
  • Advise on IT and data protection law, including GDPR, data processing agreements and digital business models
  • Draft and review contracts in the areas of IP, IT and data protection
  • Help design and build internal firm processes
  • Support the further expansion of the cyberlaw and IP practice
  • Independently organize work and take on responsibility
  • Collaborate with lawyers and the secretarial team on an equal footing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fully qualified lawyer with a completed law degree
  • Ideally above-average exam results
  • Excellent knowledge of intellectual property law (IP)
  • Interest in and/or initial experience with cyberlaw, particularly hacker attacks, NIS2 and CRA
  • Good knowledge of IT and data protection law is an advantage
  • Technical IT know-how is desirable but not mandatory
  • Team player with enthusiasm and a positive attitude to work
  • Loyalty as a core value
  • Independent and structured working methods
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Confident handling of priorities and high-pressure situations
