About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independent or ad-hoc handling and management of mandates in intellectual property law (e.g., trademark, design, patent, and competition law)
  • Advising on Cyberlaw matters, in particular on hacker attacks, incident response, and NIS2 and CRA compliance
  • Advice on IT and data protection law (including GDPR, data processing agreements, and digital business models)
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts in the areas of IP, IT and data protection
  • Helping to design and establish internal firm processes
  • Supporting the further expansion of our Cyberlaw and IP portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fully qualified lawyer with a completed law degree and ideally above-average exam results
  • Strong knowledge in intellectual property law (IP) and interest and/or initial experience in Cyberlaw (hacker attacks, NIS2, CRA)
  • Good knowledge of IT and data protection law is an advantage
  • Technical IT know-how is not strictly required but is desirable and welcome
  • Team player who lives our positive spirit, is enthusiastic and enjoys their work
  • Loyalty is one of your core values
  • Independent, structured working style, strong organizational skills and the ability to handle priorities and pressure situations with poise
