About the role
- Deeply understand business objectives, pain points, needs and desires of clients, actively participating in meetings, workshops and discovery and requirements elicitation sessions.
- Critically and thoroughly analyze requirements, assessing impacts, dependencies, risks and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain functional requirements documentation, ensuring clarity, completeness and consistency, involving the Technical Lead, key team members and the client to ensure the refined solution is ready and aligned with business goals.
- Ensure requirements are sufficiently refined and prepared for Sprint planning, facilitating the estimation process and the team’s definition of work items.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment between requirements, business objectives and the strategic prioritization of the Contract Backlog / Roadmap.
- Contribute solution alternatives and business recommendations, supporting technical and functional decisions together with the team.
- Understand the application core flow, business processes and rules involved, maintaining a systemic view of the solution.
- Assist the Tester/QA in defining and clarifying acceptance criteria and test scenarios, especially for high-impact or critical features.
- Monitor QA testing and client acceptance (UAT), ensuring a safe transition to application use.
- Present functional deliveries to the client in review sessions, ensuring understanding and validation.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and business alternatives that add greater value to clients.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of solid experience in business analysis and/or requirements work on technology projects.
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager or in an equivalent role.
- Experience in eliciting, analyzing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience with process and business flow mapping (e.g., BPMN, user journeys, etc.).
- Prior experience supporting the definition of test scenarios and UAT.
- Knowledge of prototyping tools (mockups, wireframes).
- Ability to lead complex sessions with clients and stakeholders.
- Critical, analytical and systemic view of business processes and digital solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements.
- Organized, detail-oriented and with a strong sense of quality.
- Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Advanced English or Spanish for reading, writing and speaking.
