Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and evaluate new technology approaches for current IoT / Industry 4.0 challenges
Specify software requirements and the associated tests
Design algorithms for data processing and fusion for implementation in customer systems
Develop mathematical models of complex processes
Develop software from functional prototypes to production-ready products
Implement advanced algorithms in real-time systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science (University/FH) or a comparable qualification (M.Sc. or Ph.D.)
3–10 years of professional experience in software development
Focus on C++ and/or Java
Good knowledge of Python
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jira, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab
Knowledge of best practices
Structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team
Experience with resource-efficient programming and real-time operating systems is a plus
Experience developing safety-critical applications is a plus
Experience with agile development processes such as Scrum is a plus
Reliability and a strong quality mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
