About the role
- Responsible for provision of financial information and analysis to meet corporate reporting deadlines and support management decision making.
- Excellent technical accounting skills and the ability to organize financial data and present clear, concise, management level analyses.
- Ability to assimilate and manipulate large amounts of data is essential as are strong analytical, IT and communication skills.
- No direct reports for this position.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA, CPA a plus.
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting/financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment. Standard costing experience is preferred.
- Must have intermediate to expert level Microsoft office skills, with Microsoft Excel focusing on pivots, vlookups, macros, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting and reporting to include variance explanations.
- Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Sarbanes Oxley experience is preferred
- Proficient in financial modeling techniques and spreadsheet creations.
- Experience with ERP system (Oracle), Blackline, and HFM/Essbase consolidation/reporting systems and experience in a cross-functional environment
- Strong analytic and communication capabilities with ability to present information in ways that is relevant to the audience.
