About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive high-impact supply chain transformation initiatives across EMEA and deliver structural improvements in cost, service and scalability across planning, logistics, manufacturing and order management, with a particular focus on planning excellence.
  • Act as the transformation lead between strategy, design and implementation—translating strategic objectives into actionable programs and supporting Knauf to deliver complex initiatives with speed, quality and measurable outcomes.
  • Own the full project lifecycle from opportunity assessment through solution development and business case creation to implementation and benefits realization, shaping scope, priorities and trade-offs within the approved framework.
  • Lead planning transformation initiatives including Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization and planning governance, while supporting executive-level investment and go/no‑go decisions.
  • Ensure sustainable business impact by leading cross-functional teams and external partners, facilitating governance and stakeholder alignment, and driving adoption through effective change management, KPI tracking and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Planning, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, with experience in supply chain transformation, management consulting or program/project leadership in complex international environments.
  • Proven track record in large-scale transformation programs with measurable operational and financial impact, including extensive experience in developing business cases, investment decision-making, CAPEX/OPEX assessment, benefits realization and performance tracking.
  • Experience in end-to-end supply chain transformation with deep expertise in planning, operating models, planning technologies and digital transformation, including planning tools/systems, advanced analytics, as well as planning automation and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and board-level executives, including steering committees, VPs and C‑level decision-makers, and experienced in managing external partners within complex matrix organizations.
  • Structured, analytical and results-oriented mindset, fluent in English, and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (approx. 15%).
