About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point, resolving complex incidents from 2nd‑line operations and Service Managers to minimise business impact
Translate platform architecture and service strategies into robust technical configurations and deployments across global projects
Build and operate automation and API integrations; use monitoring, AIOps and observability to anticipate and resolve performance issues
Create and maintain low‑level designs, automation playbooks, SOPs and standardised configuration templates to drive consistency
Modernise and harden Knauf’s global network estate—covering hardware refresh, configuration management, SD‑WAN rollout, and secure‑by‑design controls including NAC compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer science/IT or equivalent experience in large‑scale enterprise environments
Proven track record operating campus and enterprise networks at global scale (10,000+ users) across routing, switching, wireless and network security
Hands‑on with SD‑WAN, ideally Fortinet (FortiManager/FortiGate), including migrations from legacy WAN to modern SD‑WAN
Cisco CCNP or Fortinet NSE 4+ strongly preferred
Experienced with centralised network management platforms, identity services and core network services; comfortable with API‑driven workflows to improve operational efficiency
