About the role
- Overseeing and coordinating demand and supply planning, production and transport planning, material replenishment planning
- Translate mid-term to long-term plans into granular short-term capacity schedule
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes while meeting customer demand
- Long-term planning to balance capacity and monitor/adjust production plans with Plant Manager
- Lead and involvement in the S&OP process
- Collaborate with Plant and Sales Team to develop demand forecasting models
- Develop production schedules and plans based on forecasts and optimize production efficiency
- Ensure materials availability via MRP and coordinate Purchase Orders
- Translate forecasts into inventory plan and manage inventory levels
- Involved in SLA creation for Supply Chain matters
- Identify future capacity constraints and bottlenecks
- Measure, analyze and report KPIs related to planning
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain planners
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management or in production
- Knowledge in planning and forecasting processes and (optimization) concept
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in process improvement and project management
- Proficient in supply chain planning software and ERP software
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Business-oriented degree such as Economics, Industrial Engineering or related
