About the role

  • Overseeing and coordinating demand and supply planning, production and transport planning, material replenishment planning
  • Translate mid-term to long-term plans into granular short-term capacity schedule
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes while meeting customer demand
  • Long-term planning to balance capacity and monitor/adjust production plans with Plant Manager
  • Lead and involvement in the S&OP process
  • Collaborate with Plant and Sales Team to develop demand forecasting models
  • Develop production schedules and plans based on forecasts and optimize production efficiency
  • Ensure materials availability via MRP and coordinate Purchase Orders
  • Translate forecasts into inventory plan and manage inventory levels
  • Involved in SLA creation for Supply Chain matters
  • Identify future capacity constraints and bottlenecks
  • Measure, analyze and report KPIs related to planning
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain planners

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management or in production
  • Knowledge in planning and forecasting processes and (optimization) concept
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in process improvement and project management
  • Proficient in supply chain planning software and ERP software
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Business-oriented degree such as Economics, Industrial Engineering or related
