About the role
- Procurement of products for medical consumables and general/office supplies
- All standard hospital inventory and materials management tasks within purchasing, such as processing requisitions and orders in the central materials management system, invoice processing, and requesting and reviewing quotations
- Monitoring delivery schedules for ordered goods
- Project-related support and coordination of new product introductions, product testing and product conversions in cooperation with clinical departments and suppliers
- Close interaction and communication with nursing and medical staff
Requirements
- Commercial vocational training (e.g., healthcare commercial clerk or industrial clerk) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a hospital environment and/or in purchasing desirable
- Commercial awareness and business-oriented approach
- Resilient, communicative, and open-minded personality with regard to new tasks
- Very good IT user skills (materials management/inventory systems and MS Office)
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
