About the role

  • Procurement of products for medical consumables and general/office supplies
  • All standard hospital inventory and materials management tasks within purchasing, such as processing requisitions and orders in the central materials management system, invoice processing, and requesting and reviewing quotations
  • Monitoring delivery schedules for ordered goods
  • Project-related support and coordination of new product introductions, product testing and product conversions in cooperation with clinical departments and suppliers
  • Close interaction and communication with nursing and medical staff

Requirements

  • Commercial vocational training (e.g., healthcare commercial clerk or industrial clerk) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a hospital environment and/or in purchasing desirable
  • Commercial awareness and business-oriented approach
  • Resilient, communicative, and open-minded personality with regard to new tasks
  • Very good IT user skills (materials management/inventory systems and MS Office)
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
