About the role
- Lead the strategic procurement function for both clinic locations
- Define procurement and supply chain strategy
- Establish supplier strategy
- Ensure targeted procurement market analysis and supplier selection
- Conclude supply contracts, quality and logistics agreements
- Conduct tenders, if necessary with legal support
- Lead and support price negotiations
- Ensure high-quality supplier evaluation
- Identify, initiate and implement savings and optimization potentials using key performance indicators
- Prepare investment plans
- Conduct regular material review committees
- Ensure efficient workflows in the procurement process and in internal departmental processes
- Lead and develop a team of ten employees in procurement and warehouse
- Ensure compliance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz)
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Health Economics or a comparable field with a focus on Procurement/Logistics
- Professional experience in hospital procurement desirable
- Solid business administration knowledge of procurement processes, particularly regarding medical devices
- Strong negotiation skills in price and contract negotiations
- Experience with common procurement-specific systems as well as hospital information systems (KIS/HIS)
- Structured working style, strong team orientation and assertiveness
