About the role

  • Operate the biomass chipper via remote control, ensuring proper loading of trucks and making necessary adjustments to the equipment.
  • Monitor the operation of the loaders that feed the chipper, provide guidance on material volume, and correct any operator performance issues.
  • Ensure the preservation of the equipment, the quality of the processed material, and the efficiency of the biomass chipping process.
  • Work in partnership with the mechanical maintenance team, using appropriate tools to perform repairs and replace the chipper knives according to established procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma;
  • Valid driver's license (Category B minimum);
  • Availability to work shifts and to travel occasionally;
  • Experience operating machinery will be an advantage;
