About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support spares planning for assigned products or part groups
- Review demand, inventory, and planning data to help maintain appropriate spare parts availability
- Monitor basic performance metrics such as fill rate, service levels, and inventory position
- Conduct root cause analysis to drive the appropriate corrective actions
- Work with Regional Planning, Product Support, Supply Planning, Procurement, and other teams to gather inputs for the demand plan
- Learn product lifecycle concepts, spares planning fundamentals, and KLA planning systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Level Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related field
- Coursework, internship, project, or early career experience in supply chain, operations, engineering, business analytics, data analysis, or a related area
- Basic understanding of supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or operations concepts
- Strong analytical skills and interest in working with data to solve business problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Exposure to ERP, planning, reporting, or data visualization tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a cross-functional team environment
- Basic understanding of inventory planning, service levels, product lifecycle, bills of material, or service parts concepts is a plus
