Customer Engagement Applications Engineer
KLAApplications Engineer in semiconductor technology supporting product teams and solving algorithm issues for tool utilization. Collaborating on prototypes and testing solutions while maintaining alignment with product development goals.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the local product team on troubleshooting system and algorithm issues to maintain high tool utilization at customers fabs.
- Prototype and test algorithm solutions to enhance the value of our tools to customer, and participate in product development process.
- Review tactics.
- Identify strategic gaps.
- Maintain focus, clarity, and confidence within the team.
- Meet regularly with the product development team: Get alignment on objectives and strategy.
- Exchange of information regarding needs and next steps.
- Periodic training at KLA R&D centers to stay technically current on the latest product development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or above degrees in engineering, electronics, physics or material science.
- Minimum 5 years in semiconductor capital equipment experience desired.
- Professional experience in image analysis, image processing, anomaly detection, and classification is required.
- Candidates with knowledge of optical imaging systems are preferred.
- Good communication skill in English.
