About the role
- Management of service planning system data input connectivity, monitoring, and governance
- Identify and document requirements for data feed and data management improvements
- Work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementation
- Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting
- Develop data quality monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards etc
- Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources
- Define and/or develop analytical tools in Power BI and other data visualization technologies
- Develop and implement functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and improvements
- Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real‑world results
- Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data develop
- Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners
- Act as an authority for the service inventory planning system
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
- Database management and/or experience with large data-intensive enterprise systems
- Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent
- Hands-on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment
- Experience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting
