About the role
- Monitoring administrative proceedings before bodies such as state and municipal Departments of Finance (Secretariats of Finance);
- Organizing and updating internal controls and case tracking spreadsheets;
- Assisting in the analysis of notices of assessment, tax notifications and other documents related to administrative tax litigation;
- Preparing drafts of procedural documents of low complexity;
- Researching case law and tax legislation applicable to ongoing cases;
- Supporting deadline management and administrative diligences;
- Liaising with internal departments to gather information and documents necessary for administrative defense.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Law degree program, between the 4th and 6th semesters
- Previous experience with administrative tax litigation, particularly at the state and municipal levels (indirect taxes), will be considered a plus
- English at an intermediate level or higher
- Proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and writing skills
