About the role
- Support the Installation Engineer in the on-site installation of semiconductor equipment, including mechanical assembly, material handling, and preparation of tools and components
- Assist in the setup and basic assembly of systems, such as cable routing, module installation, and component alignment, following standard procedures and safety guidelines
- Handle incoming and outgoing materials and parts during the installation process, ensuring accurate tracking and proper storage
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in cleanroom conditions
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols (EHS – Environmental, Health, and Safety) during installation activities to prevent violations and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any irregularities or potential hazards to the lead engineer or safety personnel promptly
- Document daily tasks, material usage, and progress updates, and maintain clear communication with the installation team
- Be flexible and adaptable to support installation activities at both domestic and international customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Technical college or university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field
- No prior experience required in semiconductor equipment installation; however, experience in equipment assembly, factory operations, or cleanroom environments is a strong advantage
- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes or equipment is preferred, especially in areas such as metrology or lithography
- Hands-on skills with mechanical tools and basic troubleshooting ability
- Willingness to learn and follow technical procedures
- Good communication skills in Mandarin; basic English reading and comprehension ability is preferred for understanding manuals and safety guidelines
- Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude toward learning new technologies and supporting team operations
- High flexibility and adaptability to support installation activities, with up to 40% domestic travel required
- Willingness to work a 6-day work week, depending on project schedules and installation demands.
