Key responsibilities & impact

Review ABA documentation within the EMR system
Evaluate session notes, treatment plans, and progress documentation for individualization and client-specific content
Identify patterns indicating copy-and-paste or templated documentation
Review documentation through the lens of the BACB Ethics Code
Confirm that parent training and/or teacher training is occurring when required
Review records with a Medicaid and commercial insurance audit-defense lens
Provide structured, written audit summaries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in ABA service delivery and documentation
Prior experience in a supervisory, clinical lead, program director, or QA role
Strong working knowledge of the BACB Ethics Code
Experience with early childhood populations
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong written communication skills
Comfort critically reviewing other clinicians’ documentation
