About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and implement the Kinaxis Maestro product based on customer business requirements
Ensure solution configurations are high quality, aligned with user stories, and delivered according to project timelines
Translate business requirements into Kinaxis Maestro product specifications
Translate complex supply chain problems into analytical and mathematical models, including optimization, heuristics, and constraint-based logic
Embed analytical models into Maestro solutions
Work in small POD teams with domain experts and stakeholders to understand problems and deliver usable solutions
Develop and enhance inventory management modules balancing service levels, working capital, and system efficiency
Develop Production Planning workflows balancing capacity, lead times, and demand variability
Design and develop algorithmic logic for allocation, prioritization, and capacity balancing using Maestro scripting and embedded algorithms
Support quality control and quality assurance validation and testing
Provide recommendations to improve future workflows and implementations
Collaborate with Product Managers and internal stakeholders to align solutions with system capabilities
Identify objective functions, constraints, and trade-offs and translate them into system logic
Translate business requirements into system configurations, dashboards, and workflows
Guide and train end users during early innovator programs
Provide continued customer support during early innovator programs
Conduct data-driven analysis to identify improvements and recommend them to the project team
Identify opportunities to standardize and enhance Maestro resources using reusable Operations Research-based solution patterns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Strong foundation in Operations Research / optimization techniques (Linear Programming, heuristics, constraint-based modeling) is highly preferred
Ability to translate mathematical/analytical outputs into actionable business insights for stakeholders
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for customer-facing roles
Knowledge of Agile methodologies for system implementation
Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into entity relationship diagram logic
Understanding of the software deployment life cycle, including business requirements definition, functional specifications, test plans, testing, user training, and deployment
Self-starter who shows initiative and can excel in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to synthesize complex information and determine the best course of action
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people at all organizational levels
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, verbally and in writing
Strong working experience within Supply Chain Management platforms
Experience with Production Planning and inventory management concepts, ideally in a software or technology-driven environment
Experience in SaaS Supply Chain platform projects
Knowledge of software extensions and embedded algorithms is an advantage
Kinaxis Solution Consultant Level certification is an advantage
Experience with data analysis tools including Python and SQL
Experience with optimization models, analytical problem solving, or algorithm development in a supply chain context is a strong advantage
Exposure to simulation, scenario analysis, or decision-support modeling frameworks is preferred
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments
Solution Consultant Level certification/s from Kinaxis is an advantage
