About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of bookkeepers, ensuring accurate financials and adherence to policies.
- Facilitate client calls to review financial reports, answer questions, and ensure clients understand their numbers and how they relate to tax strategy.
- Serve as the bridge between clients and our tax team: facilitating communication, preparing necessary reports, and ensuring smooth coordination during tax planning and filing.
- Communicate with clients via Zoom and email regarding their financials and business strategy.
- Review and approve accurate financial statements for LLCs and S Corporations, ensuring they are tax-ready and compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Collect, organize, and review client financial data within QuickBooks Online, maintaining accuracy, completeness, and consistency across accounts.
- Uphold company guidelines and ensure team compliance with policies and deadlines.
- Work closely with our bookkeeping team and tax professionals to ensure seamless financial reporting and client service throughout the year.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in an accounting environment, with the ability to oversee a team and ensure strict adherence to timelines and standards.
- Technical expertise in QuickBooks Online is required, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated success in multi-client environments, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining quality and accuracy.
