About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading accounting services engagements for small to medium sized businesses
Assisting in the development of initial assessments, project plans, vendor selections
Financial modeling, RFP creation, contract negotiations and post selection administrative actions
Supports Manager in the planning and development of project deliverables
Coordinates and oversees various phases of engagement
Completes detail review of work papers and client deliverable
Interacts directly with senior client and service provider executives
Studies and evaluates clients' internal controls
Resolves accounting problems as they arise

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s in accounting or related field
5 years progressive experience in public accounting
Proficiency with various accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing
Current knowledge of accounting principles
CPA preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
