About the role

  • Work and deployment on a state-of-the-art 27-bed intensive care unit
  • Guideline-based intensive care treatment of our cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients, including transplant medicine and mechanical circulatory support/ventricular assist device (artificial heart) therapy
  • Learning and applying advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Opportunity to participate in staffing the regional emergency physician (Notarzt) service

Requirements

  • Medical degree and/or German medical license (Approbation)
  • Advanced-level resident (Assistenzarzt) in training or board-certified specialist
  • Additional qualification in emergency medicine (desirable)
  • Team player with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Patient-oriented, communicative, and empathetic personality
