Facilitate quality learning experiences that provide: A risk-free environment for student learners that reinforce critical thinking and decision making and opportunities to enhance caring behaviors towards peers and patients
Enhance student’s ability to promote patient safety and quality health care, and clinical competence through selected critical thinking scenarios
Improve performance, communication, and efficiency in clinical setting
Promote evidence-based decision making for professional practice, empowerment of the student in preparation for the clinical setting
Facilitate debriefing and positive feedback to enhance student learning
Encourage students to self-analyze their performance and use critical thinking during the reflection process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctorate for DNP program; MSN for BSN program; BSN for AAS program.
Unencumbered license to practice registered nursing in Kentucky.
BLS/CPR certification.
