Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate quality learning experiences that provide: A risk-free environment for student learners that reinforce critical thinking and decision making and opportunities to enhance caring behaviors towards peers and patients
- Enhance student’s ability to promote patient safety and quality health care, and clinical competence through selected critical thinking scenarios
- Improve performance, communication, and efficiency in clinical setting
- Promote evidence-based decision making for professional practice, empowerment of the student in preparation for the clinical setting
- Facilitate debriefing and positive feedback to enhance student learning
- Encourage students to self-analyze their performance and use critical thinking during the reflection process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctorate for DNP program; MSN for BSN program; BSN for AAS program.
- Unencumbered license to practice registered nursing in Kentucky.
- BLS/CPR certification.
