About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support individuals with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care
- Give medications and follow health plans (we will train you)
- Drive individuals to appointments, work, or fun activities
- Help people build life skills and try new things
- Encourage individuals to speak up and make their own choices
- Keep clear records and fill out forms as needed
- Communicate with coworkers, families, and medical staff
- Mentor and support other staff on your shift
- Help with money tracking, supplies, and scheduling
- Keep the home safe and follow emergency steps if needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- 1–3 years of experience in direct care or a health-related job
- Must pass background checks and drug test
- Able to complete CPR, First Aid, and Medication training
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
