About the role

  • Comprehensive consulting of our clients in the field of AI for the design and implementation of their systems, processes and development workflows
  • Design, development and operation of cloud and on-premise software systems in the areas of AI and Big Data, in particular LLM-based solutions
  • Selection, integration and training of deep learning models
  • Advising on the selection of technology stacks to be used
  • Transitioning models into high-performance, production-ready software systems
  • Presentation and communication within the AI domain
  • Conducting design and code reviews

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience or a PhD
  • Degree in Computer Science or a technical field with an IT background, or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, ideally with LLMs, speech recognition, NLP or computer vision
  • Deep knowledge of current deep learning methods and architectures
  • Advanced experience in Python and at least one other programming language such as Rust, Kotlin, C#, Swift or Java
  • Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Big Data architectures and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Flink, Kafka, Elastic, Cassandra, Neo4J and other NoSQL databases is advantageous
  • Solid mathematical and algorithmic understanding
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift is a plus
  • Familiarity with common cloud platforms and technologies
  • Independent, goal-oriented and methodical working style
  • High degree of initiative and ability to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
