About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead lease-up and occupancy by touring the model suite, following up on enquiries, converting pre-leases, and driving the building to stabilized occupancy
- Work with construction and development partners on deficiency walkthroughs, suite readiness, amenity turnover, and initial resident move-ins
- Establish resident programming, communications, and social presence for the new community
- Lead leasing activity including enquiries, tours, applications, screening, and lease execution
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, social media, and local market research
- Serve as the primary resident contact and respond to enquiries, concerns, and service requests
- Build community through resident engagement, events, and communications
- Manage move-in and move-out processes and enforce community policies and lease terms
- Coordinate maintenance, unit turnovers, vendor work, and emergency response
- Inspect the property to uphold cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
- Collaborate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams
- Maintain resident records, lease documentation, and communication logs in the property management system
- Monitor property performance, support Accounts Receivable, and manage expenses within approved budgets
- Handle rent arrears, notices, and invoicing
- Represent KEILTY as the on-site community ambassador
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in residential property management, leasing, hospitality, or a comparable service-driven role
- Comfort with sales and leasing, including tours, follow-up, and closing
- Working knowledge of Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act and Landlord and Tenant Board processes, or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and a solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence with property management software and ability to learn new systems
- Entrata experience is an asset, not a requirement
- Ability to organize tours, trades, and resident requests simultaneously
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Availability for occasional evenings and weekends during lease-up
