About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a strategic DevSecOps transformation initiative, focusing on migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise and modernization of cloud delivery practices across AWS environments.
  • Actively participate in migration activities, contribute to the design and implementation of GitHub workflows, and collaborate on containerized and serverless deployments on AWS.
  • Participate in the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, including repositories, pipelines, boards, and governance practices;
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, security scanning, packaging, and deployment;
  • Support the adoption of GitHub Advanced Security, including CodeQL, secret scanning, dependency review, and vulnerability management;
  • Collaborate on CI/CD standards, branching strategies, and pull request practices;
  • Contribute to AWS modernization initiatives, including containerization on Amazon EKS and serverless solutions based on AWS Lambda;
  • Develop and maintain Terraform code for AWS infrastructure, including EKS, Lambda, IAM, networking, and related services;
  • Support container engineering practices such as Helm, image hardening, and ECR lifecycle policies;
  • Contribute to serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, and SQS.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, including repositories, pull requests, branching strategies, and migration initiatives;
  • Advanced expertise in GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline architecture;
  • Strong experience with GitHub Advanced Security and security integration in delivery pipelines;
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning and management;
  • Strong experience with AWS services relevant to modern cloud delivery, especially EKS, Lambda, IAM, networking, and ECR;
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads, especially in Amazon EKS environments;
  • Solid experience with Azure DevOps as a migration source environment, including pipelines, repositories, and boards;
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, automation, compliance, and secure cloud delivery;
  • Ability to lead technical transformation initiatives in a global organization;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Proven experience in international projects, including collaboration with global and multicultural teams;
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
