About the role

  • Be responsible for test automation, developing new automated scripts for numerous executions across different scenarios;
  • Be responsible for organizing and maintaining automated scripts by environment and test;
  • Specify scenarios and test cases in BDD for automation;
  • Assist in creating and maintaining multiple automated regression test suites;
  • Maintain strong relationships with developers and other QA team members, coordinating deliveries for automated testing;
  • Manage the execution control of automated tests and bug tracking;
  • Create automated test scripts for functional tests (integrated tests) and non-functional tests (performance and stress);
  • Generate tracking reports for automated test executions;
  • Collaborate with other development, requirements, and testing teams;
  • Estimate testing effort for stories, tasks, enhancements, and bugs;
  • Perform manual testing and specify scenarios and test cases;
  • Extensive experience in specifying test scenarios, test flows, test cases, coding test automation, and organizing scripts;
  • Experience developing test strategies and test plans;
  • Knowledge of test automation tools;
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work across different areas and with different profiles (business, technical, etc.);
  • Strong time management skills, able to work on multiple projects/demands simultaneously;
  • Quick learner and self-directed;
  • Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions in dynamic environments, ensuring high-quality deliveries even under challenging deadlines.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development);
  • Knowledge of JavaScript (using Cypress);
  • Experience in highly complex projects that use microservices/APIs architecture;
  • Organized approach to executing automated test scripts, following DevOps practices;
  • Experience with CI/CD environments;
  • Good understanding of Lean Startup;
  • Knowledge of different project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.);
  • Proven experience in highly complex projects;
  • Knowledge of Jira Software / Confluence;
  • GitLab;
  • Testing certification.
  • Differentials / Preferred:
  • Experience with high-performance software and distributed high-availability systems;
  • Knowledge and application of multiple paradigms and methodologies;
  • Experience in the financial market and/or crypto assets;
  • Previous experience working on projects using agile methodology;
  • Prior involvement in test automation with Cypress.
