About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, design, execute, and control software test projects.
Define and implement test strategies aligned with product quality objectives.
Develop, maintain, and evolve automated tests across multiple layers (frontend, backend, microservices, and mobile).
Apply unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance, and user-story-based testing techniques.
Document and map service transactions, creating application, transaction, and routine diagrams.
Build comprehensive test plans for systems and services, covering functional and non-functional testing.
Create methods to integrate test scripts into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Generate and manage data sets for executing functional tests.
Execute functional and unit tests using specialized tools.
Actively participate in user acceptance activities with business stakeholders.
Control, monitor, and validate the execution of test flows and acceptance for applications, routines, and projects.
Analyze, track, and resolve error and defect records, ensuring traceability and quality of deliverables.
Assess the testability of requirements and support quality improvements from the early stages of development.
Correct inconsistencies and deviations in test artifacts, ensuring quality for the end customer.
Create and maintain a known-issues knowledge base to support testing processes.
Conduct workshops, mentoring, and guidance on concepts, techniques, and best practices for functional testing, and prepare guidance materials.
Define, monitor, and analyze functional testing metrics to produce corporate reporting.
Apply key testing techniques to validate outcomes in requests, projects, and software services.
Execute tests in test labs, with a focus on banking automation and a critical business perspective.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Experience in planning, execution, and control of testing projects.
Experience with automated testing for frontend, backend, microservices, and/or mobile.
Proficiency in core testing techniques and levels (unit, integration, functional, acceptance).
Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
Experience with test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD) tools.
Analytical ability to identify, track, and resolve defects.
Experience creating test plans, data sets, and technical documentation.
