About the role

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance back-end solutions.
  • Lead system architecture definition and technology selection.
  • Implement and optimize integrations with databases and other services.
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (front-end, DevOps, product) to align requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Serve as a mentor and technical leader for the development team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with COBOL.
  • Experience with CICS.
  • Knowledge of DB2.
  • Experience writing and executing unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (Jira and Confluence).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum team).
  • Strong collaboration and interaction skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • High level of analytical ability and the capacity to create creative and disruptive solutions.
  • Organized and autonomous, with a strong focus on delivery quality.
  • Proficiency with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Expertise in source code versioning systems (Git) and advanced CI/CD practices.
  • Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and software design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
