About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage environmental remediation, reclamation, demolition, civil earthworks, and pipeline-related projects
Prepare accurate project estimates, budgets, scopes, and forecasts
Assist in the bidding process
Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements
Monitor project performance related to safety, cost, schedule, productivity, profitability, and QA/QC
Manage project costs, forecasting, documentation, progress billings, and change management
Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and client deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–10 years of Project Management experience related to General Construction, Mining, Environmental Remediation/Reclamation, Earthworks, Demolition, or Oil & Gas Construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction project management
Post-secondary education in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or related program is an asset
Experience managing projects in remote or northern environments is a definite asset
Strong estimating experience is considered a major asset
Technical writing experience, including reports and project documentation, is considered an asset
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
Ability to travel is a definite asset
