About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serves as an organizational resource in reviewing, understanding, analyzing and using data for the purpose of measuring or improving performance
Leads small projects, and often works multiple complex projects
Confirms project requirements by analyzing user requirements, conferring with others on project team
Analyzes current system/application capabilities for possible solutions to minimize development
Supports, manages, and organizes electronic data according to Kaweah’s policies and standards
Gathers and interprets relevant data and information
Develops and maintains integrated data and uses inductive reasoning supplying strong evidence for solutions/conclusions
Thinks analytically and is a problem solver
Performs structured data requirements analysis and data modeling in support of application development for relational and reporting databases
Works collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently under own initiative.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of three years in Information Technology
Experience in database management, design, data analysis, automated reporting, and ad-hoc reporting
Experience extracting data from electronic medical records
Preferred: Experience with Soarian, Elmer, Soarian Financials, Soarian Support, eClinical Works, Cerner Millenium, and Tableau
Knowledge of SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Excel, and Report Writing Tools (Business Objects, Power BI, etc.)
Analytical Tools (R, Python, etc.)
Knowledge of C#.Net, VBA, VB, OLE/ODBC preferred
Clear understanding of HEDIS measures, HRSA UDS measures and Quality Data Coding.
