Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct judicial and administrative proceedings involving the accident benefit (auxílio-acidente) and other social security claims
Draft, review and file legal pleadings and documents at all stages of judicial and administrative processes
Monitor deadlines, court notifications and case movements
Handle executions, challenges/objections, habilitations, assignments of claims and procedural incidents
Define and implement litigation strategies aligned with the objectives of the case/asset
Analyze procedural risks and the financial impacts of claims
Update legal management systems and procedural controls
Support the management of the case portfolio and related assets
Interact with internal teams (advisory, new business, finance)

What you’ll need

Law degree (completed)
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Knowledge of Civil Procedure and Civil Law
Experience working in litigation with a high caseload
Prior experience in social security law
Initial experience in a law firm or legal department, with case monitoring experience
Prior experience in civil law is a plus
Deadline management and procedural organization
Basic drafting of legal pleadings
Case law and regulatory research
Use of legal management systems and electronic court portals
Basic Excel skills
