About the role

  • Craft a vision and strategy based on input from customers, stakeholders, and development team.
  • Develop feedback loops with stakeholders and customers to validate ideas and drive decisions.
  • Work daily with development and analytics teams to clarify vision, requirements, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales and 3rd party partners to position products in the marketplace.
  • Continuously adapt the plan by adjusting scope and priorities to deliver valuable solutions.
  • Balance value of deliverables with associated cost and risk.
  • Own the product backlog, balancing directions from multiple stakeholders.
  • Define user stories ready for the development team.
  • Analyze competitor landscapes and market trends for product innovation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner with a track record of delivering measurable business value.
  • Specific experience working with sales teams and externally facing digital properties.
  • Required expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Deep experience managing Agile backlogs and partnering with engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales systems. Familiarity with lending products and underwriting workflows a plus.
  • Experience working with API-based integrations and distributed systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform decision-making.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party channel partners and building partner portals preferred.
  • CSPO, PSPO, or similar Agile certification preferred.
