About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a strategic financial partner and the operational backbone of Kaléo’s Finance function
Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast cycles, and long-range planning
Develop integrated profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow models
Prepare financial materials for the CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and monthly Finance Committee reviews
Provide financial oversight of the company’s revenue streams
Lead a small Finance team and mentor team members
Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial reporting requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
8+ years of experience in progressively challenging finance roles
4+ years of experience supervising or leading a finance team
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, Power Query, and data model integration
Experience with integrated financial planning systems and/or ERP-connected reporting tools
Previous experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals strongly preferred
MBA preferred; CPA or CFA a plus.
