About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Head the Building & Project Consultancy offering in the London office (with UK wide travel required).
Deliver traditional Building and Project Consultancy work for good book clients including dilapidations, surveys, due diligence, cost assessments, contract administration, project management and design/specification of work.
Work alongside the Real Estate team on stressed assets providing detailed technical advice on compliance matters and advising on works and costs to complete developments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Chartered (MRICS or FRICS) Building Surveyor.
Significant post-qualification experience (10+ years) in building surveying and project management.
Deep expertise in dilapidations, surveys, contract administration/project management, due diligence and development monitoring.
Experience in multiple sectors (commercial, retail, industrial and residential).
Strong leadership & people management skills; mentoring / developing staff.
Excellent verbal/written communication.
Sound technical understanding of statutory, legal, regulatory frameworks in UK property & construction; planning; health & safety and Building Regulations.
Client facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to manage and maintain strong client relationships.
Ability to lead client meetings and provide strategic property advice.
Track record in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Skills in formulating bids, proposals, and fee submissions.
