You will help power CareerSafe, serving more than 3 million users annually, while supporting cloud platforms that operate in regulated environments where reliability, security, and audit readiness matter.
Leading DevOps and cloud engineering through technical direction, not hierarchy.
Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation frameworks.
Embed security and compliance into the way systems are built and deployed.
Engineer and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS, GovCloud, and Azure.
Partner closely with Application Development, Architecture, and Security to ensure platforms support fast, reliable, and secure delivery.
Strengthen platform reliability and operational discipline, resolving complex issues.

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure engineering
Strong hands-on experience designing and operating cloud environments (AWS required, GovCloud/Azure preferred)
Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Proven ability to build and operate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
Strong Linux systems experience in cloud environments
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.)
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues without relying on escalation
Experience mentoring other engineers and improving team capability through hands-on guidance
Comfortable working in a highly accountable environment where priorities and outcomes are explicit
