About the role

  • K2United houses two national brands (K2Share and CareerSafe) delivering cyber risk advisory services and online education for workforce readiness.
  • Director of Information Technology to set IT vision, architect cloud infrastructure, ensure cybersecurity resilience, drive digital transformation, and deliver automation and AI solutions.
  • Lead IT team; shape technology strategy; drive efficient, secure systems; empower employees and customers.
  • Stay hands-on from system architecture to DevSecOps; partner with leaders to enable mission.
  • Tools: Axio360, KnowBe4, Duo Security, Nessus, AWS, Azure, GitHub, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Zapier.
  • Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 10+ years IT leadership; cross-functional team management; cloud and security expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, including strategic planning
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional IT teams in a mid-sized or enterprise environment
  • Proficiency with cloud services, DevSecOps practices, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Hands-on, cloud-first mindset; able to architect and implement secure systems
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution
  • Experience with tools: Axio360, KnowBe4, Duo Security, Nessus, AWS, Azure, GitHub, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Zapier
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship required
