About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Characterization of MMICs and RFICs in the microwave and millimeter-wave range (>100 GHz)
  • Perform on-wafer measurements using wafer probers (e.g., MPI)
  • Setup, operation and optimization of RF measurement stations (VNA including extenders, probe stations, load-pull / noise measurements where required)
  • Perform and analyze S-parameter, power and linearity measurements (e.g., IP3, P1dB)
  • Apply calibration and de-embedding techniques (TRL, SOLT, LRM)
  • Analyze and interpret measurement results and derive design feedback
  • Automate measurement procedures and data analysis (Python, MATLAB)
  • Support silicon bring-up and validation of new designs
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Test) and external partners as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Technology, Microelectronics or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience (approx. 5–8 years) in the characterization of MMICs / RFICs
  • Solid knowledge of RF and millimeter-wave measurement techniques (>100 GHz)
  • Hands-on experience with wafer probers and on-wafer measurements
  • Proficient with VNA measurements including extenders
  • Experience with calibration and de-embedding techniques
  • Experience in measurement automation (Python and/or MATLAB)
  • Independent, structured working style
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience with load-pull, noise measurements, or power amplifier characterization
  • (Nice-to-have) Knowledge of III‑V technologies (GaAs, GaN, InP)
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience working with test labs
