About the role

  • You will work in an agile development team on our software products in the field of naval communication and make the concept of software quality tangible for the development teams.
  • As the test expert in the team, you are responsible for verifying the team’s deliverables and use appropriate methods to do so.
  • You actively participate in creating, maintaining, and executing unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • You develop and maintain automated tests, and, when necessary, perform manual testing procedures to secure release cycles in close collaboration with the testing team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • High level of teamwork with open, transparent communication
  • Prior experience in software testing
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Good knowledge of Python and C++
  • Experience with version control, preferably GitLab or GitHub
  • Good working knowledge of agile practices such as Scrum
  • Independent, goal-oriented working style
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
