Key responsibilities & impact

Effective leadership in a matrix organization
Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget
Managing Teams facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams
Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators less than 1.0
Management of third-party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
Seven (7)+ years relevant project management experience in electric utility projects is required
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
General understanding of utility operations
Experience with Transmission Projects, Greenfields & Brownfields
Strong experience with EPC Projects, Contract Models and Management
Strong Safety-First Focus
Strong experience with Article VII Permitting
Must have experience with building Greenfield Substations
Must have experience with 61850 Fiber Projects
Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
