About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Effective leadership in a matrix organization
- Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget
- Managing Teams facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams
- Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators less than 1.0
- Management of third-party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers
- Accountable and Responsible for:
- Cost /Budgeting and Management

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
- Seven (7)+ years relevant project management experience in electric utility projects is required
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
- General understanding of utility operations
- Experience with Transmission Projects, Greenfields & Brownfields
- Strong experience with EPC Projects, Contract Models and Management
- Strong Safety-First Focus
- Strong experience with Article VII Permitting
- Must have experience with building Greenfield Substations
- Must have experience with 61850 Fiber Projects
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
